"The apartment was very good on the big things (fantastic location, quiet, adequately stocked with dishes, nicely bohemian if you don't mind a four -story walkup). It was a bit chintzy in some small but easily remediable things, though. There are no toiletries of any kind, not even a bar of soap. Bring your own. To use the TV I had to go out and buy batteries for the remote. There were decorative pillows on the pull-out sofa bed, but no real sleeping pillows. Stuff like that. Nothing fatal, but...

"We were touring WW2 sites. This was in an excellent location for seeing all the "beaches" and Caen. It was clean and comfortable. Particularly compared to the hotel we stayed at in Paris.The hosts were quick to answer any questions which was nice because France is different than the USA. "
