"The location is very good, right at the beach! The hotel is a bit old but pretty good overall. Staff can hardly speak English but are trying to help. "

"Three positive considerations: 1- Location. Hotel is perhaps in the best part of Anglet and very close to Biarritz. You can walk, run or ride a bike safely thanks to infrastructure created in that part of the Angler. 2- Sorroundings. A beautiful Golf Course is what you see around the hotel. Beyond the property, you can find great coffees shops, restaurants and the beach. 3- Parking. Is easy to park the car with many slots available as part of the hotel facilities. "Great staff, all spoke English and were extremely helpful. Breakfast buffet was not huge but included good bread, croissants, fruit, yogurt, local cheeses, ham and nuts, and espresso."

"Staff was excellent in explaining the location and sites to see. The location is excellent and very quiet. I enjoyed the homemade breakfast items as described previously in prior reviews. The hotel is easy to access and they arranged a taxi to return to the airport to be driven to St Jean de pied pont. You will enjoy a night exploring in Biarritz before the Camino Frances. The French Rivera is beautiful"

"Had a lovely short stay at Auberge Basque. We took a garden room which was very cute and well decorated. The only downside was it was next to the carpark and road which was noisy and you could only have natural air by opening the back doors - We didn't want to use the air con so at night the room was a bit hot. The 6 course tasting menu was fantastic with some very interesting flavour mixes!"
