"I wanted to plan a weekend getaway for my boyfriend when I stumbled upon this cabin. It is tucked away off the main road but everything is within close driving distance. We loved the atmosphere and esthetics of the cabin and the hosts thought of everything down to the little details! I highly recommend this place and woukd definitely stay here again! "Our stay at Galena Haven was fantastic! Our host was extremely kind and attentive for any information or questions. The property is beautiful and made for the most perfect, cozy stay. The location is great, quiet and secluded but easy to access from the center of town!"

"We liked everything about the property. The only issue was that the bed was too high! My wife is short and was impossible for her to get on it. I removed the box spring (of course put it back) and then it was fine."

Beautiful Historic Building

"This beautiful historic hotel did not disappoint. Its decor transports you back in time while still making you feel quite elegant and casual at the same time. It’s clean everywhere you go and having plenty of parking and a somewhere to dine onsite is very convenient. I wasn’t able to get an appointment at the spa but it just made me want to go back. Until next time Dubuque! "
