Food from the Bistro was excellent (the main restaurant closes on a Sunday and Monday) …. Perfect for trips into SS using the local bus (number 16 -2 Euros fare) and a taxi or bus back as parking is very difficult in SS. Hotel ideal as a base for exploring the delights of SS and the Basque region… highly recommended"

The hotel itself is as advertised , old and charming. So no A/C , rooms are spacious and clean and the staff made up for all the inconveniences, very accommodating and helpful . I’ll still consider staying here next time"
