"The location is perfect for short or long term stay. The rooms were in great condition and having AC was a blast! The owner and the staff were so kind making breakfast every morning, replenishing towels, toiletries etc and very communicative and helpful with questions or concerns! "We enjoyed our 15 day stay very much. The staff, and especially the desk staff in the lobby, were very helpful and hospitable. We enjoyed being close to the center of Barra de Navidad, able to walk everywhere downtown and to the beach for wanders all the way to San Patricio."

"Our booking was 'confirmed by Expedia' but when we arrived, the advertised 'front desk' was not there, there were no staff and the guests around the pool said that the whole place was rented out with long term visitors. We couldn't reach Expedia without a cell phone and were left to go find something late on a Sunday night of a long weekend when the town was full. Very dissapointing!! "

"Originally built as a five star resort, but showing its age a bit. It is still elegant and I highly recommend it. Most rooms are in very good condition, with only minor maintenance issues. The pools and landscaping are beautiful and well maintained. Service is excellent in all departments."

"The unit we had gotten was a three bedroom but a/c got damaged but the owner and manager took care of problem asap We had a good experience the area is clean, pools are great it is quiet only thing the beach not good for swimming but it is great for a walk sunset or sunrise there are also restaurants and stores close by so overall it’s great."

"I had a wonderful and relaxing stay. Quaint little cottage with a beautiful view. Lovely outdoor seating area to sit and have your coffee and read while looking out at the Lagoon. The family that keeps the grounds is very nice and helpful. The only possible issue, is that there’s no real market. So, if you come, you may want to bring in some groceries. However, there are plenty of restaurants and convenient stores for water, drinks and chips, etc."

"Do to my lack of the spanish language; I was able to communicate effectively with the lady who checked us into our room. The main doors are locked between certain hours each night, and she showed us how we wohld be able to enter the building after that time. Complimentary coffee was available each morning at the front desk. Our room faced the street, so we were concerned about toad noise, but it was not too bad. There is a pool, but we did not have an opportunity to use it. I would not hesitate to recommended this hotel to anyone."
