"The house was beautiful, the grounds were well kept, and Yoanna and Luis were very helpful. Luis even helped my kids get down some fresh coconuts! I can’t put into words how beautiful the setting is. The beach is amazing, although we did have a scary incident were myself and my teenaged children were swept out and caught in a riptide. When we were unable to swim in I screamed for help as loud as I could and Luis and Yoanna came running as well as the neighboring fishermen. Without their rescue it would have been a very different trip. All that to say practice caution in the ocean! To sum it up, beautiful house, great location, just be careful in the ocean"

"This place is gorgeous, a mix of nature, beauty and relaxation. You can be laying down on your bed watching the lake and natural beauty without having to move. Or you can enjoy your coffee or dinner on your own balcony with the view of the lake below. If you need to just relax and enjoy nature with a side of luxury this is the place. The Restaurant is also beautiful with the view of the lake while you enjoy delicious food. And if the beauty of this place is not enough their people are also amazing, super sweet and friendly. My husband and I had an amazing time and will for sure be coming back with our children and their spouses. "

"The entire staff provided wonderful customer service, particularly the restaurant staff. Due to weather delays at my destination, I stayed an additional 3 nights in San Salvador, 2 nonsuccessive nights at Mi Tierra. Both rooms were clean and appointed with the necessities. The first room in a detached building was quite small and dated, but clean. The second room was in the main building, roomier and more modern. "
