This hotel is on the beach, has amazing grounds, and a chef who worked with my crazy dietary restrictions. From Liberia Airport via a transfer arranged by the resort, I arrived at Pacific Kalokairi in dire need of relaxation. I was greeted warmly and shown to my gorgeous suite where I watched an incredible sunset over the ocean…the first of many. It’s a beautiful place to visit. The view is amazing, the food is actually great. My only displeasure was they didn’t have tv BUT that just means you’ll have more reason to connect with family, wife/husband or what ever friends you came with.

We chose the W for our Honeymoon and from the moment we arrived at the W, the staff was so warm, welcoming, and helpful. The particular staff members who went above and beyond for us were Glenda, Fabian, Andres, and Gerardo. We ate mostly at the Cocina Mercado on-site and the food was excellent. Hotel was awesome, staff is great. If I had a complaint I’d have to say the cost of the food. 1st night of arrival got a hamburger, a salad, and the wife and I each got one drink. The bill was $75. From that point on we went and ate at Tamarindo. Our 1st day in Tamarindo breakfast, lunch, and dinner was $80 total!

We loved Margaritaville Costa Rica! It is right on the Playa de Flamingo which is a wonderful beach. The staff, the food, the drinks, the location & the sunsets where fabulous. We would only ask that who ever is in charge of the "pool music," please include some Jimmy Buffett songs. We where there for over two weeks and did not hear one Jimmy Buffett song over the stereo. When we arrived, the manager was called to tell us that unfortunately the hotel had been overbooked and our room had been given away. Needless to say, we were NOT HAPPY - especially because we had booked many months previous. This hotel was a little oasis. We were worried that Tamarindo was doing to be too busy and touristy but this hotel was located at the quiet end of the beach, which was only a short walk away. There are restaurants and shops within walking distance. We traveled as a family and ate most nights at a little group of food trucks, which weren't as expensive as the beach restaurants. Keylor was one of our waiters that worked at the hotel and he gave us great recommendations for food to try from the restaurants, and everyone thing he recommended was amazing. Elena at the front desk also helped us out a lot and made sure that we had everything we needed for our rooms.

This property is beautiful especially for the price. Staff was very accommodating and quick to help. The large ceiling to floor windows provide an absolutely amazing view. Beds are comfortable. Food was good! Beautiful hotel grounds and easy beach access with lounge chairs. Staff is happy to help.

Yes was a wonderful time we have there special service with the employees Warner Amarillis and Jaffet what kind of people gave us the maximum services and friendly humans being they are. I think our next vacation will be with this hotel Condor lodge we will rated this place 7 stars thank you so much to everyone there.

The property was literally right on the beach, new updated rooms, great friendly staff. The only thing that could be a little better would be the food. Other than that, great property!

This place was great! Comfortable beds and linens! Great ac! HOT water. There was also a water outage in the whole city but luckily the palms had extra tanks on property and were able to switch to those so we had hot water when the rest of the town didn't!
