"House is beautiful. Property description is accurate and home was nice. Love the location. Excellent views of the ocean. Necessities, towels and toilet paper are provided. There are also beach chairs and umbrellas! Floors could have been cleaner. Laundry room floor had dried feces on it, possibly from cats, not sure but could use a wash down. The host and house manager were all quick to respond and accommodating. Great communication! We will most likely stay again in the future."

"This was a great place to spend a week with our 2-1/2 year old grandson and his parents. The house is fully air conditioned which was a blessing when you needed to escape from the beach heat. The pool was great place to hang out at after our daily island adventures. The bbq grill was a treat which we used almost daily. The host was very responsive the few times we needed to reach out."

"The cottage is incredible. Truly amazing. The beds are comfortable, linens in abundance and kitchen well stocked. It was easy to call this home while on Vieques. We utilized the AC in the bedrooms at night and didn’t particularly miss it in the rest of the house. There is a nice breeze when the porch doors are open. We spent a lot time on the deck overlooking the ocean. Morning tea and afternoon cocktails, star gazing and bird watching. The caretaker April, went over & above to ensure things are just as they should be. Small thoughtful touches are reflected everywhere. Her communication was thorough and helpful at every turn.Keep in mind the cottage sits right on the ocean. The waves can get loud. It didn’t bother us, we loved it. Our visit was in off season so some places were closed for the season but we took advantage of the places that were open. El Norte & El Yate (very local) for dinner as well as Mar Azul. Mar Azul is the spot where a lot of Americans hang out. Truly the best burger we’ve ever had. Great service at the bar. We drifted over to IL Blok for music on the rooftop with Henry the guitar player and a stunning view. We will return to Blue Moon. I can’t recommend it highly enough."

"The Yellow House was everything we needed in a vacation!Steps to the beach, horses, chickens. The kids loved it! The host was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again! Vieques is so peaceful and the best vacation spot!"

"Las Piedras has multiple levels for privacy and very nice common areas both inside and outside. The dining area only accommodates 6 people for meals. There are 6 chairs around the kitchen table and 6 bar stools around the batr.Just a note- the tile floors can be very slippery.It has beautiful ocean views, direct beach access where swimming and snorkeling are good BUT only on calm non-windy days. But if you drive south, there are many calm beaches without wind where you can swim and snorkel.Las Piedras is close to Isabel II for good restaurants and food shopping which is very convenient. I understand that beach houses have more wear and tear from the moist air, but they also need to be maintained consistently to keep up with deterioration. This house is tired, a bit rundown. For example, many windows either don't open or leak when it rains. (7 out of 10 windows in the master bdrm did not work. Also it would take minimal cost to have a toaster that works, a toaster oven, to provide kleenex, napkins, paper towels, extra toilet paper, kitchen towels. Small stuff, but it makes a difference and would be appreciated. Overall we did enjy our stay at Las Piedras! And if you are lucky, you might get a chance to play with Ginger & Pookie. The house was fine 8 out of 10. The location is simply the best!"
