"I booked this hotel because of the multiple hot tubs that they listed. I even called the property before booking to make sure that the hot tubs were in working condition. Of course, only one whole hot tub was open and it was freezing cold. There were lots of people at the pool that day and everyone was frustrated! Also upon arriving, I noticed our room was a little warm, but we set the air conditioning and left to go exploring and did not come back until past 9 PM. The room was still warm and we noticed that in the middle of the night the thermostat reset back up to a higher temperature. I told them about this the next day and had to ask multiple times for someone to come fix the air conditioning. I was also told upon leaving by the manager Rajiv that I would receive one night refund and then they never gave it! They won't return any calls or help resolve the issue. Completely ridiculous as a Hilton member, I am so disappointed."

"We rejected the original room booked for us. The room had smoke, pet and odd cooking odors. Almost directly across the hall, there was loud arguing going on. We requested another room. We were very satisfied with it. Great guy at the front desk. friendly, welcoming, accommodating, and “on the ball.” Give him a raise!"

"The staff were nice but the we were so disappointed with our room, no curtains, no water stopper in the sink, broken light, we wanted to leave but the manager was so kind and helpful and gave us a better room, but I will not stay there again "

"This is a fairly basic hotel but it was clean and I felt safe. The value for what I paid and what I got was very good. You definitely need a car to stay here as there isn't much you can walk to from the hotel. I would stay here again. "

"Room was clean but the smell was present. Not sure what it was. Staff was nice. Breakfast is poor and not vary. Drinks, only milk was good. Parking is on site, no issues. Slow Wi-Fi, only 2.4. "

"I really wanted to love my experience at The Belamar Hotel because the property itself is beautiful. The design, rooms, and overall amenities create such a relaxing and stylish atmosphere—it truly feels like a special place to stay. Unfortunately, the front desk experience has consistently fallen short. On multiple interactions, the staff came across as rude, difficult to work with, and lacking empathy or flexibility. It’s disappointing because customer service sets the tone for a stay, and this detracts significantly from what is otherwise a great hotel. I genuinely believe with better training and a stronger focus on hospitality, this could be an outstanding experience from start to finish. Right now, the disconnect between the beautiful space and the level of service is hard to ignore."
