The view over Polletts Cove as you begin the descent down to the cove. On this beautiful September day, there was no one else here and it was like having a piece of paradise all to yourself. The tough, 15km round-trip trail to Polletts Cove runs over private land and the owner generously permits hikers to respectfully use the trail and experience this remarkable Cape Breton landscape.

"Its a beautiful house just off the Cabot Trail, not far from Cheticamp. Most things are neat, new and shiny. Its a clean and comfortable place to stay, host is responsive. Only 1 small negative was that the sofa had a little bit of musty smell, which I believe can be cleaned up easily. It was surprising because everything else was clean and fresh. I also found the prices to be a bit steep for a 2 bedroom, it would have been justified had it been a 3 bedroom house."

"Location was convenient seems like your in the woods with no neighbors but they are around. Has everything needed to make the stay perfect. The town is very close by lots of music choices so have a great time and enjoy the house just like us. "

"Had an amazing stay here with our family of four. The house was perfect and the hosts are incredibly thoughtful and welcoming. The location is on the doorstep of the Highlands Park. We’ve stayed in many rentals over the years and it’s rare to find one a comfortable and well appointed as this! "

"Beautiful area, Fire pit was great, it was nice to relax and hang out at the house and grounds as they were beautiful, we took short trips to explore the area and came back early to enjoy the house. We saw shooting stars and the milky way."

"We had a great time, the location is perfect for hiking in the national park."

"We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was perfect for four adults and dogs. The easy access to the beach and Highlands park was our favorite part. Cute town and good restaurants. Very easy check-in and good communication. Good vibes all around!"

"Clean, well appointed and modern place. Bbq worked great. Super location for views. Seals can be seen easily from the deck. Satelite dish wasn’t working but we didn’t mind it. Location is fairly close to the cabot trail, and although the skyline trail is very busy, it is about 25 minutes away - we did a sunset tour. Highly recommend this place - this was two couples and more than enough space for each. Cheers"

"This accommodation included every little detail that made it extra special. The host anticipates guest needs very well. We especially enjoyed access to the hot tubs, a great amount of towels and robes, the in-room coffee and snacks, the amenities in the main house, quality bath products. Our only feedback would be that a 10 AM check out is a little bit early compared to other properties, as is a 4 PM check in (however, the property manager allowed us an early check-in, so we were very happy with that after long travels.) We hope to stay again in the future, it was so so great! "
