"This is a lovely property on Hydra. It is convenient to all shops, restaurants and the port. We stayed in a full apartment which came with everything you need. Enough bread and food for breakfast and lunch every day. Owners are charming. "

"This is my 4th time staying at New Aegli. I like coming here in late September, or October. The prices drop dramatically and the weather is perfect. Also, I really enjoy the breakfast buffet and EZ access to the beach for swimming and for drinks served directly to your lounge chair. They provide resort quality service at a great price."

"We loved our stay at the Leto Hotel on Hydra! From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted and given helpful information regarding dining options & island activities. Hydra is a non-motorized island that can only be accessed by boat, ferry or water taxis. We were very appreciative the hotel prearranged a porter to meet us apon arrival and handle our luggage when we arrived by ferry from Athens. The uneven stone alleys make it difficult to maneuver wheeled suitcases and the hotel location, although very close to the port, isn’t initially easy to find. Everyone at Hotel Leto is very friendly and most helpful! They go out of their way to ensure a successful & memorable vacation. The breakfast is outstanding with a wide variety of cooked & baked items, as well as Greek yogurt, fruit & granola & breads. The coffee is delicious and each table is served their own pot. We enjoyed eating breakfast outside in a beautiful courtyard. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay look forward to returning again! "

"The entire property has such a thoughtful and beautiful design, and I felt instantly at peace being there. Gorgeous antique rooms and common areas. Wonderful and helpful staff! Excellent breakfast buffet full of fresh local ingredients. Delicious welcome cookie and great room service, not that you need it - the restaurant has a lovely patio overlooking the pool and gardens full of trees and hot pink bougainvillea. My room had lovely Juliet windows that opened up onto this same interior courtyard, and in the morning you wake up to the sounds of monastery bells, chirping birds and a nearby rooster or two. Add to all of this the fact that the hotel is a five minute walk from the beautiful port. It was a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to visit again and maybe take advantage of the morning yoga classes and the local book club. "

"The Hotel was beautiful, most staff was extremely pleasant. Asked waiter if it would be ook to put the beach chair in the water as the waves felt great who he informed was ok. Then had a man with a life guard shirt come over rudely and requested I get up, took the chair and washed it. Meanwhile, the entire time we were there, the waves were crashing into the chairs. Why be rude as it didn't make any sense. Overall property was beautiful and peaceful."
