"We (a family of four with a 13 year old and a 9 year old) stayed here in July/Aug 2026. The property was clean and spacious and served our needs. The gite is one of 2/3 other gites in large enclosed grounds. The decor is rustic as it is an older property but is fine. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds were comfortable. There are two bedrooms on the upper level (one also on the ground floor) which get quite hot when the weather is nice. The outdoor seating area is great for meals and has a large parasol to provide shade. The pool is shared with the other properties, which I didn't realise when booking, but it was very clean, doesn't seem to use chlorine and has an automatic cover which keeps it clean and the water warmer. Plenty of seating round the pool. There was just one other family in another gite when we there and the kids played together which they enjoyed. The garden is open (with a fence/wall all around making it feel very secure) and provides lots of space for the kids to play in. They especially loved the hammock. There are bikes, dart board, table tennis and BBQs to use. The area around the property is very quiet, good for cycling and running and there is a large lake nearby for strolling around. You can walk to Lamballe in 40 mins approx. Good restaurants there, particularly liked Cafe Ardoise. Several supermarkets nearby. The Leclerc was particularly impressive. High speed charging point for car only 5 mins away. Highly recommend this property. Great hol!"

"We had the most glorious time at Lynda’s; she was a welcoming, accommodating host with a beautiful house and garden - the pool was a firm favourite and the location was stunning! When asking our boys (aged 7 and 9 yrs) what they thought of their holiday they couldn’t have said it better. ‘We saw the house and we got very excited, we loved going to the bakery and on bike rides and playing in the terrific garden. We loved going on the inflatable water park and seeing the cool castle at Fort di Latte’. Thank you Lynda for a wonderful stay!"

"Wir haben soeben (im Juli 2026) als fünfköpfige Familie einen wunderbaren, knapp zwei-wöchigen Aufenthalt im Château de la Touche erleben und genießen dürfen. Bereits das Schloss selbst und der dazugehörige Park sowie der an diesen anschließende Pfad in ein verwunschenes Tal sind ein Erlebnis und eine eigene Reise wert. Vom Schloss ausgehend sind in 45 bis 60 min viele Highlights der bretonischen Nordküste und des anschließenden Inlands gut mit dem Auto erreichbar, es stellt somit auch eine hervorragende Ausflugsbasis zur (individual-touristischen) Erkundung dieses Teils der Bretagne dar.Die Suite selbst ist großzügig und vermittelt in allen Räumen ein herrliches Raumgefühl, dass durch die in Umfang und Stil historisch angelehnte Möblierung hervorragend unterstützt wird. Neben den so gestalteten Schlafräumen sind auch die drei Bäder und die Küche großzügig bemessen, allerdings hinsichtlich ihrer Kernfunktionen mit modernen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet, die wir bei diesen Räumen auch sehr schätzten :-)Herr Brendel war sowohl im Vorfeld des Aufenthalts gut erreichbar als auch in unserer Zeit vor Ort gerne für uns da - wir fühlten uns stets wohl und freundlich aufgenommen und bei Fragen hervorragend unterstützt.Sollte uns ein weiterer Urlaub wieder in diese Gegend führen (was ich mir angesichts der vielen Highlights der Region, für die zwei Wochen bei weitem nicht ausreichten, durchaus vorstellen kann), werde ich zuerst nach freien Räumlichkeiten im Château fragen."

"Superbe villa avec belle piscine couverte et de nombreux jeux dans le garage, villa au calme dans un lieu résidentiel, toutes les commodités se trouvent à 10 min à pied (boulangerie que je recommande, boucher, petit magasin, pâtisserie, et l'hôte Océane est à l'écoute pour toute question que vous pourriez vous poser."
