"We were “upgraded” to a different property from the one booked online. Don’t know how different this one was. You need a car! No information available about public transport. Family members were available for our transport. We had to find somewhere to stay at short notice, to attend a family funeral. August in France is always booked up well in advance."

"Vieux-Viel ist ein kleiner und sehr ruhiger Ort. Für uns war es als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Region ideal (Mont St. Michel, Avranche, St. Malo, Cancale, etc...). Supermarkt und Tankstelle sind in weniger als 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Frisches Gebäck haben wir bei den Bäckern in Pontorson bekommen. Egal wo, die Leute waren immer super freundlich :-). Lediglich die Küche führt zu Abzügen in der Bewertung. Der Kühlschrank war schmutzig. Es gab nur einen größeren Topf (eigentlich für...

"The house far exceeded our expectations. It was a great size for a family of 5 adults anc 2 young children. The kitchen was full of fantastic appliances and everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms were a great size and the bathrooms were spotless. The added touch of the children’s play area upstairs was brilliant and much used. "WLAN access was very cumbersome, the pool was fine, location also. The house itself was quite small, the living room too small. The furniture was worn down. We had a nice little outside seating area. You can walk to the nearby beach. Beaches for swimming is a 10 min car ride away. Quite expensive for what it is."
