"Very convenient to entrance #3 to Plitvice National Park. Highly recommend eating dinner at the property, the food was excellent and saved a drive finding a restaurant elsewhere. Room was very comfortable, staff was very helpful in helping us plan our visit to the park."

"The location of the Pearl of Plitvice is excellent - just a short 10 minute walk to entrance 3, the boat dock at P3 and the boardwalk to the great waterfalls. The property itself is immaculate - the self check is convenient, the hosts are readily available for any questions on WhatsApp and the rooms are very neatly kept and have all the typical hotel amenities. The shower has excellent hot water. The breakfast is served at 7.45am which allows starting the day early, and the breakfast spread is...

"The location is a bit further in than other options but you gain the benefit of entering the park via the less known/used entrance 3. We were able to use our entrance 1 tickets which allowed us to do route C in reverse...Upper lake and then lower lake...avoiding some of the crowd.
The owner provided these tips and more.
As for the room, it was larger than expected and comfortable. The highlight was the supper - the owner cooks on an open fire and offers a range of meat and vegetarian meals,...

"Absolutely loved this place. Had beautiful grounds to go and sit in peace after a long day of walking around the waterfalls.
Clean, cozy rooms, nice breakfast and a lovely family who own and manage the property themselves."

"Lovely property, wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts were both helpful with planning our park visit and recommending a great dinner at Bistro Antonio!"

"We arrived late at night at Zagreb and encountered delays at the airport for receiving our bags and securing our hire car. We had only booked our stay that afternoon and I was nervous on how long the drive would take, whether google maps would be reliable to locate the cottage and also if check in would be a problem.
Each step of the way, i communicated to the Host Natalie and she was so accommodating and helpful. She sent us videos and guidance that put my mind at ease allowing for a late night check in (roughly 12:30am we arrived). The breakfast the next morning was lovely too and rivalled some big hotels we had stayed in recently. We only stayed one night before going to the lakes - would not hesitate to stay here again - it’s gorgeous!
There is great parking on site too.
Two additional tips I would suggest for travellers. Book your lake tickets in advance in peak season (it gives you a window for entry). Depending on your fitness levels, factor in a full 6-8hrs of walking for the day if you’re doing both the upper and lower lakes. We were quite tired afterwards and would have been happy to stay another night but we drove onwards to split afterwards (quite intense). Just make sure you consider the size of the park so you’re not stressed as it’s huge!
Thank you Natalie for making this trip so memorable - we loved every minute"
"A lovely stay with a lovely family feel. Our room was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. Could benefit from a kettle, us UK travellers like to make a tea/coffee. We ate evening dinner at the hotel & our choices were delicious, very fresh well cooked food. Only thing I would suggest is offer a smaller lunch menu, we would have also eaten lunch here if there was.
We would highly recommend a stay. Comfy beds too."
"Checking in and out the room from the restaurant out on the main road could be quite confusing. If you didn’t have a car, it would be quite impossible.
Overall, the staff was very helpful and it was a very pleasant experience."
"When booking a resort to enjoy Plitvice, we found this gem by accident. Family owned and operated, the accommodations were cozy and the meals were amazing. Great Local knowledge for navigating the national park as well."
"The facility is well maintained and very clean. There is a convenient entrance to the park within walking distance from the hotel. There is a good restaurant on the site. They prefer to be paid in cash instead of using a credit card."
"The rooms were modern, clean, and well appointed. The location of this village is amazing and very peaceful. Lots of good outdoor facilities like patios, swings, chairs, pergolas, and a clothesline. From this location, you can walk into the park, P3 is what you’re looking for. Just make sure to buy tickets online for either entrance 1 or 2 (there is no 3rd entrance listed), but you can enter on foot to P3, there is a guard stand where they check your tickets en route. The host was very nice, and we had breakfast there both days, and dinner one of the nights. Would definitely go back!"
