"Not what it seems, if you look the picture it looks pretty nice. Unfortunately on the right side you got he local tourist-bureau, on the left side the organize mountain-bike and boat-tours. So if you like a lot of people in front of your house and windows. Communication whit the owner was very difficult, late reactions. "We had a wonderful weeks holiday at Maroux Vian. Paula and Andy were very welcoming and the perfect hosts, they really couldn’t have done more to make our stay special. The Gîte was clean, tidy, comfortable and a great base for the week. The rest of the facilities at Maroux Vian are superb - we particularly loved the pool and hot tub. Business trip in Pontivy

"We were in Pontivy on Business. Checkin was seamless. As someone who is a light Sleeper I thought that our room near the lift would keep me awake, but it did not. The Black out Curtain is a great which helped me sleep. Ok There's no Coffee/Tea Maker but that wasn't a issue. There's a restaurant attached where we at twice, Lunch and Dinner. Breakfast was plentiful. THe Staff we excellent, Especially Paschal."

Wonderful Stay

"The staff was incredibly welcoming and ensured we had what we needed to have a wonderful stay. Summer months include very warm days and the rooms are often hot. We simply purchased a fan to help with circulation and it made all of the difference - especially for sleep. We would certainly stay again!"

"The couple that run the hotel are so kind! There was a funny mistake from the language barrier but everything worked out and they truly go above and beyond to make you comfortable! We did choose to buy a fan for the room but that’s because we’re spoiled Americans accustomed to sleeping in 65 degrees even in the summer. "
