"A lovely quiet spot with easy walks along the river to Pont Croix and Audierne. Easy access to lovely beaches and a supermarket only 5 minutes away by car. Matheiu was great (little English), a fishermen who provided us with 2 prepared fresh lobsters. Andrew, the next door neighbour, speaks good English and gave us a lot of useful information and local history. Gite was clean and well appointed. We loved it as did our dog, Charlie"

"Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr modern und hübsch und mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünschen kann. Die Lage ist ruhig. Leider erlaubte uns das bretonische Wetter während unseres Aufenthalts nicht, draußen zu sitzen, aber im Sommer kann man die beiden Terrassen und den Garten sicher genießen. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"The accommodation was immaculately presented; everything we needed (and more!) was provided. The owners had clearly put a lot of effort into making it a home from home, with comfortable and tasteful fittings. It is capable of accommodating more, but is ideal for a couple. It also has a pleasant garden, and a shed with bikes we were invited to usE (though, in our mid-60s, we didn't!). It's located in a quiet and peaceful residential area with properties well spread and plenty of green areas ......

"A very nice house in quiet but good location with charming and helpful owners who live nearby. A superb week with the most glorious weather in a great location to explore the smaller fishing ports and to enjoy the wonderful local seafood. Merci beaucoup pour une expérience très bien !!"

"Avel Dro est une maison typique confortable, bien équipée et joliment décorée. Son emplacement permet de belles promenades en bord de mer et bien sûr à la pointe du Raz. On s'y sent bien... Seul bémol : la douche dysfonctionne et la cheminée fume. Cela n'a en rien perturbé notre séjour."

"Well equipped, simple cottage with huge garden in a quiet spot. Ideal for getting away from the city. Short drive to numerous beaches offering all the board sport activities. Great spot to relax and unwind. The proprietor, Adelaide also very helpful and friendly."
