"We had an absolutely wonderful stay and can’t say enough good things about this Vrbo. "The cabins were great for our small families and we loved being so close to the river!A little confusing that the pond is so predominately pictured when the cabins themselves are a decent ways away, and the address on the listing brought us to the wrong house and there was no description on the listing of how to get to the cabins. There was also a note about taking out the trash to the bear dumpster with a key that was supposed to be left on the counter in the cabin, it ended up being in a lock...

The Bidwell House

8/10 Good

"Very nice stay with a wonderful staff, but keep in mind it's a B&B and may not have steady hours at the front desk for check-in and checkout. This created some problems with accessing the room."

Lakeside cabin, remodeled, cozy, pet friendly with boat launch & free boat slip.

8/10 Good

"Comfortable stay in a nice and cozy cabin near the lake. Games, deck of cards, and books would have been a nice addition being other VRBO rentals usually have them. Wife says a few more dish towels would have been helpful. We found the bed a little hard for our older bodies. The TVs and heating/AC unit worked great. Really loved being close to the water and the beautiful evening lake views, especially with a full moon. Guests need to bring their canoe or kayak."

Rocky Cliff Retreat at Davis Lake

10/10 Excellent

"My family and I spent four days at the Rocky cliff retreat and it was absolutely wonderful. It has the perfect amount of privacy, while still being easy to get to. We took my daughter’s senior portraits at the lake we’ve been going to her whole life- and then we ended up taking some on the deck of the property because it’s just gorgeous out there. The host is easy to contact and responds quickly. The kitchen literally had everything we needed and I love that the coffee maker is a coffee pot and not pods. My kids absolutely loved the basement area and officially marked this their favorite house that we’ve rented at Lake Davis. The living room is super cozy and the furniture is very comfortable- the wood burning stove just tops it off. I would love to stay in the winter with the stove going - tons of board games and an endless supply of coffee. We would easily recommend this house to anyone wanting to visit the area. I hope we end up renting it again in the future."
