Built into a wonderful wooded hillside - with stunning views of the surrounding mountains from two separate decks and floor-to-ceiling windows throughout - this spacious family-friendly retreat is just the place to find some much-needed rest and relaxation. Just 15 minutes from the Killington and Okemo base areas, the interior boasts high ceilings, a fieldstone wood fireplace, a unique multi-level layout, while the scenic deck is perfect for sipping an evening cocktail.

Hop into the fully equipped kitchen and whip up tasty meals with ease on all modern appliances. If you need a bit of quiet time, sitting in an Adirondack chair by the creek that runs through the property will be the perfect way to enjoy the sunrise or sunset with a favorite novel in hand. After a fun day on the ski slopes, sledding hills, or cross-country trail network at your doorstep, the adults can soothe tired muscles in the sauna and then relax by the fireplace while the kiddos will love playing Guitar Hero on the provided Wii gaming system in the rec room downstairs!

The house features four spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds on three levels. The lower floor is home to a bunk room, a full bathroom with a sauna and laundry, and a rec room full of toys and games, so kids will have their own hangout space. The main floor features the living room, deck access, full kitchen and dining area, bedroom with a queen bed, and full bathroom. Make your way to the upper floor and you will find two more bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and a private balcony, while the other offers two twin beds.

This home is located along Vermont's Scenic Route 100 Byway. In the summer/fall, enjoy the Amherst Lake and scenic hiking in the state parks, drive Route 100 and enjoy the foliage, or visit small towns and farms within a 30-minute drive and experience Vermont's unique charm. There are also tennis courts on-site at Hawk Resort. In the winter months, this location is ideal for skiers, only a short eight-mile drive from Okemo's Jackson Gore base area and Okemo's Nordic Center, 10 miles to Killington resort's Skyship lodge, or 15 miles to the main base lodge at Killington ski resort. This is a great location where you can get away from it all and enjoy nature in solitude, yet still be close to area activities.

Amazing Stay
We loved every aspect of the house. It was just as pictured and we would totally come back again. We were sad we had booked it for only a weekend.

Great property, difficult check-in
The property is great - large, clean, and convenient to Okemo and Killington. However, getting into the property was a challenge. While the keypad on the front door worked, someone had locked a second lock on the door that made it impossible to open without a separate key. Unfortunately, that key was in a lockbox in a closet across from the front entrance, and the code to the lockbox (or any indication that the key was needed to get into the house) was not provided prior to check-in. It took two phone calls to the property manager to get the key we needed to get into the house. In the future, please provide clearer instructions on how to access the property before check in. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Ski Vacation
If you are looking for a place in between Killington and Okemo this is the spot. The Skyeship lift at Killington is about 15-20 minutes away but was closed when were there due to a lack of snow. The drive to K1 at Killington is 30 minutes. Okemo is about 15 minutes. All of these times are with clean roads. The house itself is extremely well stocked, one of the best I have seen. The family room is very comfortable, a nice place to chill after skiing. The fire place is nice but I don’t think it’s drafting exactly right. We bought dry old hard wood for our stay and it was difficult to keep it lit with the glass doors all the way open. Beds were comfortable, I think it was memory foam. Water pressure was good with plenty of hot water. Steep steep climb up to the house. We had no snow on the ground so it wasn’t an issue but if there is you will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. It was a nice ski house that is dog friendly if that’s important. Mike

Remote
We truly enjoyed our stay in Plymouth Vt. The location was quite remote. Quiet and peaceful. We were surprised how remote, no stores, restaurants for at least 10 miles. The house was well appointed and roomy, beds were very comfortable. A great place for a group to ski all day at the local resorts then come back to a comfortable home

So Impressed!
Wow! Our visit was so enjoyable! Granted it was a tad tricky finding the place at night in the pouring rain but we felt so comfortable once we were in the home• Very clean, loved the 4 bedrooms, 4 baths. Close to Calvin Coolidge home. People around there are so friendly. It was great to have so much space. Loved the dinnerware. Great experience
