Excellent stay at Apartments Villa Kolar. Very fast and helpful communication throughout. Excellent customer service. Apartment was very comfortable and well appointed. Exactly as described. Balcony was a lovely place to sit in the mornings / evenings. Podstrana was a delight - a pleasant 15 minute downhill walk to the beach - a bit longer (uphill!) on the way back! 5 minutes' walk to a decent grocery store and a very nice restaurant. Easy access to Split via bus / taxi. We would love to return! Thank you.

Pros: clean, modern, quiet, reasonably spacious, aircon, parking and the the kids loved the pool after a hot day of sight seeing. Cons: not the prettiest location (no views to speak of, certainly from the ground floor), the last 1km off the main road is steep in places and narrow (beware of pedestrians and local drivers), hot water tank small so a family of 4 all needing showers takes some logistical planning, some more pillows would be nice

Villa Kolar is situated within walking distance from a small but wonderful beach with crystal clear water and lots of shade for those who don't necessarily want to stay in the sun. There's also a couple of small (and quite basic) supermarkets nearby plus a good pizzeria. Željko, our host, was very attentive. Whenever we needed something such as a high chair for our baby, light bulbs, or towels he would swing by within minutes to drop the stuff off. We rented a car during our stay and had no issues finding a place for it, as Villa Kolar offers decent parking space. If you're not in good health, please be aware that the apartments are situated at the top of a very steep hill.

This apartment was great. The pool was perfect particularly on very hot days. There is a walk to the nearest shop to which there is steep hill. There is a longer walk to avoid the hill if necessary. It takes about 15 mins to walk to the beech which is fabulous. Perfect location for visit to the area.

The apartment owner was always very helpful and kind. Apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable. I could not ask for a better apartment. The apartment is a 10 minute walk to a lovely beach and from the bus stop which takes you to the central of Split. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Spacious two bedroom with pool and parking.
Could not have asked for more. Great fully equipped apartment. Two bedroom,kitchen, living room,bath,balconies. Management was professional and very helpful. Best value for money I have ever experienced. Rental car probably necessary but taxi service can be arranged. Give this one a try, you won't be disappointed.

Rent, trevlig och hjälpsam värd. Ganska långt ifrån allt som affär,restauranger, strand m.m. Ligger lite högt upp så jobbiga backar att gå i vart man än skulle, bra träning om man vill se det så.
