Apartment Tanita No.2 is located in Podstrana, a small tourist destination near Split. What makes this apartment special is the fact that it's the first house along the shore and it has its own cove. The beach is a combination of fine sand and pebbles and it is ideal for families with kids and older people because entering the sea is easy as the slope is mild. Also, if you prefer, you can choose to use loungers and sunshades, and there is a private outdoor shower.
Spacious two-level apartment offers a free wi-fi as well as one parking space. A ground floor consists of two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a big double bed, its own bathroom, big closet and a dresser. The other bedroom has two separate beds. Ground floor also has one big bathroom for everyone to use. A living room and kitchen with all the electronics can be found on the upper floor A terrace offers a view of beautiful sunsets every evening while enjoying a glass of wine, or you can opt for walks on the beach where you have a bar and a restaurant only 30 m away. The nearest market to shop in is 300 m away, as is a bus station that connect Split and Omiš in both directions. Airport is 27 km away. A spa and wellness facility and tennis and golf course are 1,5 km away


Apartment is only few steps away from the large and spacious beach on the beautiful adriatic sea. On the beach you can find chairs and umbrellas so you can spend all day on the beach.

Second time visiting Stipe’s apartment and the place lived up to our expectations. It is a bit of a stroll to the local restaurants if you’re walking on the beach but there are some local restaurant gems worth the walk! Beautiful view from the balcony and waking up to the sound of the sea is just something else. We will be back!

Stipe was so communicative and a lovely host. When we arrived he organised a transfer for us, as well as showing us all Split has to offer from best restaurants to nearby national parks. The actual place looks even better than the photos! It’s so spacious and the view is just amazing. You have your own beach, and podstrana is so beautiful and quiet. All in all I think it’s the best airbnb I’ve ever stayed in.

Family vacation to Croatia. What a lovely spot to enjoy the Dalmatian coast. The apartment was spotless, perfect for my husband, my teen son and me. The location is phenomenal, directly on a lovely beach, with beach chairs and umbrellas at your disposal. Stipe is a super host, so helpful with recommendations for restaurants, outings, must see activities. Loved having a washer! And Ubers into Split readily available. Highly recommend

The apartment was perfect! This was our first time in Croatia and the apartment offered everything that we needed. It is exactly as described in the VRBO listing. Stipe was great! Helpful in being available as soon as we landed. Gave us directions to the apartment with pictures attached, oriented us to the area with helpful tips, came to the property when needed, and immediately responded to any questions we had. The views from the apartment are nothing short of stunning. Podstrana is the perfect distance from the airport yet has a great seaside vibe. If we had the opportunity, we’d go back in a heartbeat! Definitely recommend Tanita Apartments!!

Everything was perfect . We spent a great journey in Stipe’s apartment. The apartment is very comfortable, with a wonderful view on the sea. The beach at the bottom of the apartment is really key for the kids and it is very quiet , which is rare ! Podstrana is a good place to stay in order to enjoy Split, Trogir and surroundings with a peaceful environment. Thanks to Stipe for his warm welcome and his valuable advice about activities and restaurants !

Our Tanita apartment was fantastic! Very clean and has everything you need. The area (beach side) is peaceful and there are beach bars and restaurants a short walk away. Stipe kindly made recommendations for where to eat and things to do. The beach is stunning. Having access to the sun loungers and umbrellas was great. Lots of Ubers around and a bus route to get into Split (~30 mins). We’d recommend this place!

My family easily found the location, had a smooth introduction with Stipe, received a bunch of great local recommendations (dinner, blue cave, Split attractions). It was clean and secure and has a gorgeous view of the sea. We did notice the noise from the road and at night was loud (obviously something not in Stipe’s control). The building had smokers and a couple times inhibited us from opening windows and being more outside. This is our personal preference not to smell smoke but we understand culture in Croatia is one that still is ok. We had to run AC to keep downstairs as cool as possible. Overall we can recommend this place to stay just wanted to give our opinion. The restaurant we liked was Cibus within walking distance. Averetourism is who we went with for the blue cave and island tours. Thank you Stipe! Much success to you and your family.
