"This is a great affordable hotel to stay at in Munich. It's an easy five minute walk to the central train station (Hbf) and the trams, subways, and suburban trains that will take you anywhere you want to go.
I liked this property a lot. The interior of the hotel has more character and charm than most affordable hotels in Munich (or Vienna, etc.). It's got a great little courtyard and quaint places to sit and enjoy a coffee or glass of wine inside. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. (German breakfast buffets are outstanding, and while this one was good, it wasn't the best I experienced on this long trip. Still, it fuels you up for the day.) The highlight of the stay was the absolutely lovely staff: so kind and helpful in every way.
As a solo traveler, I felt safe there, although to be fair I don't venture out much after dark. I would absolutely stay here again."
