"We had a wonderful stay. The staff was amazing. They accommodated out late check in and vegan made special a vegan breakfast fit for a queen. You won't be staying in the castle but in the building they have right beside. The area is quite peaceful. Very German ! "

"I recently stayed at Hotel Adler in Rudolstadt and was impressed by its unbeatable location—right in the city center, just steps from the main square, the train station, and the stunning baroque Heidecksburg Castle. There is parking available, which is a great convenience if you’re traveling by car. One downside is that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable in hot weather. However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. "Great hotel for a great price. Clean, modern, well equipped. Quadruple room was great for us and our two kids. Would love to have parking better marked as well as signs at the back entrance. We arrived after dark and it was a bit uncomfortable driving around back of the building, but once we found our way it was just fine. Would certainly stay here again!"
