"Kolon Hotel was remodeled in 2023, so the beds and facilities (air conditioning, bathroom, amenities, etc.) were excellent. However, perhaps because it was only a renovation, the window frames are still a bit outdated. There weren’t any major downsides, but it wasn’t perfect either. It offers great value for money, and the breakfast in particular was outstanding and delicious. What I liked the most was the Time After Time exhibition. If you’re Korean, I highly recommend getting tickets. The program was great, the facilities were well maintained, and there was a lot to see. Both the kids and the whole family were very satisfied."

"Clean on a quiet street. Thought it was weird that there are dozens of hotels and motels nearby but the streets are pretty empty. But it is a very nice stay.. nice hotel and clean."

"I booked this hotel at the last minute and without any research. It exceeded my expectations for the price and the service by the hotel staff was excellent. Great views and peaceful to be away from the downtown area. Highly recommend!"

"I had a suite for a day. Rooms were clean, and the view was excellent. However, I cannot recommend this place to non-Koreans as there are very limited choices for activities and restaurants. All the restaurants are seafood places. Mostly sushi places, if you enjoy sushi, this place would be a great choice. We had live fish sushi for about 40,000 won per person, and it was excellent."

"The entire experience was wonderful. It states it's right next to bus terminal but there are two in Pohang. the hotel is next to the Seoul express bus only. The other terminal is a bit aways. "
