I was very and happily surprise with this hotel. It is about 15 min away from the center of Munich but it is in the perfect location. The staff is super friendly- you feel like family!! The hotel lobby has specific hours- which could be a problem if you arrive after 11pm but in all honesty this is so minor compared to all the good things that it never bothered me. The parking is free and is near food places and super close to the highway-yet super quiet. When in need for a good hotel near...

Very friendly staff / owners. Great hot tub and spa area. Very good breakfast. Appreciated that they spoke very fluent English and always there to help when needed. Nice rooms and great breakfast. Definitely going to make this a place to stop at next time we are in the area.

Angefangen vom sehr netten Empfang bis zu sauberen Zummer und das leckere Frühstück wirklich alles bestens

Great stay, love the family atmosphere and extremely clean. The staff were very helpful.

clean room, nice breakfast

Very niche Gasthaus in bavarian country style, less than 10 km away from the exhibition center. I have appreciated the atmosphere and the exquisite courtesy of the personnel. Clean and cosy room. Very good value for the price. Even the minibar prices are good, with a good choice of beverages of any kind. The restaurant is good, although the cuisine is not typically bavarian, and prices are reasonable. Surely to keep in mind for any next journey to Munich.

This is the second time I have stayed here. It is a nice old fashioned German hotel with a very good restaurant. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Only downside is the breakfast lady who is obviously not happy with her job. When eggs and bacon ran out she complained, in so many words, that people were eating too much.

This property is great. I would definitely book again. Nice quiet area with a grocery store close by.

We stayed with our adult children at the Hotel Obermaier during Octoberfest. It was all that we had hoped for. It is a traditional hotel with a good restaurant attached. It is convenient by Metro to downtown Munich. It is much more reasonably priced than closer-in hotels. Our room and bathroom were comfortable. The breakfast was unbelievably generous and delicious. We will definitely stay at the Hotel Obermaier if we are fortunate enough to return to Munich, particularly during Octoberfest.

Spacious, clean room — perfectly located when attending a conference at Messe München. The nearby shopping mall with plenty of shops and restaurants is very convenient, and there’s also a nice park close by. It’s only about 25 minutes by U-Bahn to the city center.

Very comfortable hotel with very nice and professional staff! Great location on outskirts of Munich. Wonderful breakfast.

The only thing I would say is you definitely need better pillows.

This hotel is convient to shopping and. the train station. They have an excellent breakfast buffet.

Awesome! We are very happy! Room was clean and quiet and the breakfast was good
