"Our Texas family loved our stay at Hays Beach hideaway! The house was perfect and had everything we could possibly need. Just a short walk (60 seconds) to the beach and we were crabbing and enjoying the most beautiful sunrises I’ve ever seen! Owner was very responsive and offered information about the area. Family enjoyed the bicycles, yard games, beach supplies, crab equipment, kayaks, and very comfortable beds. Home was very nicely decorated inside and out and clean and comfortable. A most enjoyable stay we will be back! "

"We had a wonderful stay for Labor Day weekend. So much is provided by the owners, paddle boards, kayak, water mats, everything you need to enjoy the water. The house is beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked. Don't miss the sunrises. Hope to be back."
"A great weekend in a great setting. The place was cute and bright, in a quiet neighborhood, and right on the water. We caught & steamed crabs, we sat out on the deck and watched the water, we cooked dinner, saw shooting stars from the hot tub. Kitchen very well stocked with good tools. Dedicated easy parking. Dog loved it. Neighbors were quiet, and also out catching crabs like us. Bald eagles flying around. Plenty of towels. In terms of location, it's an hour from Washington's birthplace, Pope's Creek and Stratford Hall. 30 minutes to lunch on the water at Horn Harbor. 15 minutes to Food Lion. My only feedback for improvement is that I wish the beds were softer. "
