A Private Home furnished by a local interior designer in a sophisticated country style awaits you! Conveniently located one block from Main Street, walk to dining, shops and art galleries. The Point Reyes National Seashore, beaches and Point Reyes Lighthouse are only a short drive away.

Relax at Lavender House for a week and experience all the unique local specialties Point Reyes has to offer; Brickmaiden Breads, Bovine Bakery, Point Reyes Books, Cabaline General Store, Leona's, Vita, Culture Shop and of course Toby’s Feed Barn, host of the Saturday Farmer’s Market (seasonal).

We spent two nights at Lavender cottage and highly recommend this lovely cozy place. Everything has been designed for your comfort, from the fragrant garden when you enter to the roomy seating areas inside and out and plenty of towels and flip-flops for a trip to the hot tub.

The Lavender House was such a beautiful property and easy place to stay in Point Reyes station. Everything in town was within walking distance. The property was clean and immaculate, we really enjoyed eating together in the dining room and lounging in the backyard. We’d love to stay here again the next time we’re in the area.

Perfect location!

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at the Lavender House. It is a beautiful house with a lovely front garden and a perfect backyard with a hot tub nestled right below some jasmine- doesn’t get much better than that. The house is a block away from the adorable town and easy drives to Pt Reyes National Seashore.

A lovely respite

This cottage has all the comforts of home and is a short walk into town. It’s clean and well-appointed, with a lovely deck and backyard hot tub. Everything you could want!

A perfect place for a family weekend getaway. Great for a family, even ours with two small kids, especially with the high chair, pack-n-play, kid dishes, and no breakables within toddler reach. The beds and bedding were comfortable; our son opted to sleep on the sofa bed and that was even really comfortable. I appreciated the shades and blackout curtains. Everything was spotless. Loved being able to walk two blocks to the main street. Typically, on our travels we spend little time at our lodging as we want to explore, but we made extra time to stay here — to have breakfast and dinner on the outdoor patio, relax in the hot tub under the stars, and lounge on the sofa bed and watch a movie. We’re already thinking about our next visit.

Wonderful location

So enjoyable, great location and sparkling clean. We loved hiking in the area, returning to your hot tub in the evening and being able to walk into town for a coffee or dinner.

Lavender house is a beautiful quiet well equipped comfortable place to stay in point Reyes. We stayed there when my family came to visit me while I was in residence at Mesa refuge I recommend it highly.

Idyllic house and garden

The house is centrally located steps away from the main street of Point Reyes Station. The garden is lovely and the house is beautifully appointed with everything one could wish for a delightful stay.
