"You can't get any closer to the water unless you're on a boat! With some patience and luck, you might spot eagles on the beach or some Orca Whales. Each day filled with changing tides and lots of boats/ocean activities floating by to mesmerize you. On a clear day, you'll see Mt Baker and the Olympic Mountain Range. House was sparkling clean on arrival, very bright, spacious and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen, towels, toiletries even ample laundry supplies. Bring your own fishing poles, kayak, paddle boards, etc. Neighborhood was mostly peaceful and friendly. Lina and Jerry were very responsive and helpful during our entire stay. Thank you for sharing your oceanfront paradise! We can't wait for our next visit. "

"Although quite minimalistic, the Half Shell provided everything that we needed for our 2 night stay. Even though it was in another country, it was extremely close to the people that we were visiting in Delta, BC & crossing the border was very easy. We loved the view of the Strait of Georgia through the picture windows. The moon shining on the water was spectacular. We woke up to a deer walking through the shallows & a bald eagle gliding overhead.It’s a great spot for some R & R!"
