"Absolutely fantastic property with all the amenities you need. Beautiful pool and a garden which the sun doesn't leave until the evening. Very clean. Friendly conceiege and contact with the owner on booking was good. It's a walk into La Rochelle itself but we didn't mind that. Supermarket a short walk. The local town had a daily market selling amazing produce, the local bakery was also amazing along with an ice cream parlour which made fabulous waffles. "This was a wonderful place to stay. The pictures correspond very accurately to the location itself. Walking distance to the Abbey and the fort nearby. Beautiful walks along the coastline to the village La Flotte (about 15 minutes away). The host was wonderful welcoming us. Loved the two welcome gifts, very nice touch! This was a very quiet location, no cars, no loud groups, just the calm of morning birds and light wind. We highly recommend!"
