Fabulous

Beautiful unit on a quiet street only 2 blocks from the main pedestrian street leading to the historic area. Host was very accommodating and helped us when we needed it. Would highly recommend the property.

What a perfect place!

We loved Gabriella’s house. We loved Gabriella! She guided us and greeted us and was always in touch with us about our stay. She is a wonderful host and took a lot of time with us showing us where to go and eat and what to see. Circling the map with helpful directions. That alone made our stay in Polignano great . The house was very clean and looked just like the photos. We were very comfortable there. The bed and pillows were perfect. The shower was clean and had great pressure. The kitchen area was well stocked with anything you could need. We were happy there was an espresso machine with pods for us. Gabriella also had treats and beverages for our welcome. We really would highly recommend this house. The location is just a very short walk to Roma street where all the action is. Just a short walk to the famous beach too. We walked everywhere never using our car. Groceries very nearby also. Looking forward to next time.

Perfect location

Gabriella was very accommodating and made our stay easy and enjoyable. She gave us all the best places to go in town which truly enhanced the trip. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Beautiful town & welcoming host

Polignano a mare is a beautiful historical town with a lovely town center. Lots of shops bars enchanting sea views and great food. Gabriella (the property owner) was great and made sure we ha all we needed: information on what to try ( restaurants, shops, tours and towns to visit) and even provided some basics to get us started on our holiday ( coffee, tea, water etc) and was always available for us if we needed anything during our stay. The property is beautifully presented and minuets from all amenities. Definitely recommend this place. We tried the Bastione restaurant (part of the Covo dei Saraceni Hotel) for our 10 year wedding anniversary dinner under Gabriella’s recommendation and loved it so much we returned for our last evening In Polignano. thank you Gabriella for your personable and caring touch! You made our stay that much more special.

Consigliato!

L’appartamento è esattamente uguale a come appare in foto, fornito di ogni cosa (la padrona di casa, Gabriella, ti lascia addirittura il suo olio per cucinare) e in una posizione molto strategica: è infatti a due passi dal centro del paese e a due passi dal mare. Si trova davanti all’unica piazzetta di Polignano in cui è possibile parcheggiare gratuitamente, ma non è che il posto auto sia riservato, infatti per noi che abbiamo soggiornato ad agosto non è sempre stato facile trovare parcheggio gratis. Unico neo la posizione della televisione perché non la si riesce a guardare dal divano.

Bellissima vacanza!!!!

Ho soggiornato una settimana con la mia famiglia in questa bellissima casa nella zona vicinissima al centro storico di Polignano. L'appartamento è ben arredato, ben fornito e la pulizia è ineccepibile. La signora Gabriella ci ha accolto con aperitivo, frutta, taralli...ci ha accompagnato a fare una visita di Polignano ed è stata disponibile ad ogni nostra richiesta. Che dire? Persone speciali e luoghi incantevoli. Spero di ritornare presto.

Home from Home

We spent a week here and wholeheartedly recommend it. The apartment was very clean and is a traditional terraced ground floor home with a high vaulted ceiling on a narrow street within 250 meters of the centre of the old town. It is in very good condition and well equipped. We found an on street parking space every afternoon within 100 meters of the property. We were met on arrival by the friendly owner Gabriella Vasti and Valentina, the multi-lingual manager of 'Polignano Made in Love' a very helpful information centre/bike renter/tour operator based a few streets away. Everything about the property was explained in English following which Valentina took us by rickshaw on a tour of the centre of Polignano to point out the highlights and restaurants that she could recommend. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Polignano and would certainly use this property again if we came back to this area of Italy. Joan and Alan, Sevenoaks U.K.

Cordialità, Pulizia, freschezza

Abbiamo alloggiato una settimana nella dimora tipica cardinale, la disponibilità e la cordialità di Gabriella sono state uniche, ci ha accolto come se fossimo amici di famiglia, ci ha fatto trovare una cesta di frutta, taralli e una bottiglia di vino con cui accompagnarli. Ci ha fatto da cicerone per le vie di Polignano, ci ha dato qualche consiglio su dove mangiare e che cosa vedere nelle vicinanze, ottimo il fatto che ci abbia fatto trovare una mappa del posto e varie brochure. Ottima anche la posizione dell'alloggio, a pochi metri dal centro, in una zona dove c'è parcheggio gratuito. La casa è un gioiellino le foto non le danno giustizia, è molto curata anche nei piccoli dettagli, ha dei soffitti a volta molto alti ed è molto fresca, ma in ogni caso nelle giornate più calde c'è a disposizione il climatizzatore!unico piccolo neo i rumori esterni che possono essere un problema per chi ha il sonno leggero, ma nulla di compromettente, consiglio a Gabriella di valutare infissi con il doppio vetro per valorizzare ancora di più l'alloggio!grazie per l'ospitalità e dei cornetti che ci ha offerto per il viaggio di ritorno!Ottimi!

Alla grande!

Siamo stati due settimane ospiti da Gabriella in questa deliziosa dimora. Tutto come da foto, pulita, ben arredata, confortevole, una "chicca". Proprio a ridosso del centro, ma senza subirne le inevitabili conseguenze dell' estate. Vicino a casa non solo tanti posti dove mangiare e locali, ma anche il negozio dell'ortolano (proprio accanto), la salumeria (la Botteguccia) più avanti, un piccolo supermarket, diversi panettieri (focaccia meravigliosa e immancabili taralli, anche dolci) e una rivendita di pasta (che vende anche porzioni da asporto). Gabriella è una persona davvero gentile e ospitale (a parte che ci ha fatto trovare, visto che siamo arrivati ora pranzo, focaccine, frutta, taralli, acqua e una bottiglia di vino). Nel pomeriggio, ci ha fatto fare un primo giro di orientamento in paese, dispensando consigli e piccoli segreti; ci ha indicato i posti da vedere, in paese e fuori, cosa fare, dove trovare quanto ci potesse servire. Il tutto con semplicità e simpatia quasi disarmante. Quando l'abbiamo salutata (con un sicuro arrivederci) sembrava di conoscerla da tanto tempo anche se siamo stati da lei solo 2 settimane. Polignano è davvero bella, la gente è accogliente. Noi abbiamo anche trovato dei signori proprio nell'appartamento di fronte cordiali, che salutiamo tramite Gabriella (come anche Antonella che aiuta nella sistemazione della dimora). Vi sono tante gite da fare nei dintorni (mare e interno), grazie anche ai suggerimenti di Gabriella, a cui mandiamo un forte abbraccio, in attesa rivederla (speriamo presto). Gianfranco & Barbara

La casa era pulita, e arredata con molto gusto .

La posizione della casa è molto comoda in 5 minuti per il paese. Un difetto è l 'assenza di un balconcino per asciugare costumi e asciugamani, anche se il condizionatore un po' aiuta. La signora Gabriella è una persona straordinaria, gentile disponibile è stata la nostra guida per i locali in cui mangiare e per i luoghi da visitare. E che dire dei suoi straordinari tarallucci? E il gelato da Caruso? Siamo stati molto bene e consiglierei ai miei amici di soggiornare da lei.

Tutto perfetto

Wir haben Signora Gabriella als sehr freundliche und herzliche Gastgeberin kennengelernt. Sie hat uns am Bahnhof in Empfang genommen und bei einer Stadtführung viele Tips für einen gelungenen Urlaub gegeben. Polignano liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig und die Umgebung kann daher auch gut mit der Bahn erkundet werden. Die Wohnung entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Sie ist gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Bahnhof ist sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. In der nahen Umgebung befinden sich diverse Fachgeschäfte in denen alle Köstlichkeiten aus der Region eingekauft werden können. Für alles Weitere befindet sich ein kleiner Supermarkt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir bedanken uns für einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Ciao

un'ospitalità' d'altri tempi.......

Ho trascorso 15 giorni di vacanza "fuori stagione" in gennaio a Polignano a Mare : ho scelto quel periodo un po' per necessita', ma soprattutto perche' da tempo volevo un,esperienza di mare d'inverno. Ho trovato un paese bellissimo, persone più' che ospitali, dai negozianti alla bibliotecaria, dai signori dell'officina che mi hanno affittato un' auto per arrivare a Gabriella la mia anfitrione : che dire? Una persona generosa, disponibile, di una gentilezza squisita, da subito si e' comportata come un'amica e mi ha fatto sentire la benvenuta. Incantevole infine la residenza Cardinale : ottimamente arredata e fornita di tutti i conforts, vicina alle passeggiate a mare ed al centro storico la consiglio a tutti coloro che vogliono trascorrere una vacanza in Puglia in qualsiasi stagione. Ferienwohnung in Polignano a Mare

Gleich bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich von Signora Gabriella empfangen und eingeladen zu einer Besichtigungs-Tour durch Polignano, die wir später noch einmal wiederholten. Ein Korb mit Obst stand schon bereit und das Apartment entsprach voll unseren Erwartungen - sehr sauber, modern und gemütlich, wir fühlten uns auf Anhieb wohl. Es liegt in einer kleinen Seitenstraße und zwei Häuser weiter ist ein Obst- und Gemüseladen, den Sie unbedingt aufsuchen sollten, das Obst ist sehr gut und vor allem sehr billig. Eigentlich ist alles in Polignano vorhanden und ein paar Kilometer vor Monopoli ist sogar ein großer "Lidl." Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne Woche und werden wiederkommen und vor allem können wir es empfehlen. Signora Gabriella ist eine sehr großzügige und nette Frau - wir wurden Freunde! Ein wunderschönes Städtchen am Meer, sehr gute Restaurants mit günstigen Preisen - eine Reise wert. Wir haben viele Ausflüge gemacht - die schönen Ziele sind nicht weit, auch sehr geeignet für Fotografen. Wir haben alles so vorgefunden, wie es beschrieben war - herzlichen Dank "cara Gabriella!" Ferienwohnung in Polignano a Mare

Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von Signora Gabriella sehr herzlich empfangen. Sie erklärte uns die wichtigsten Funktionen in dem Apartment und zu unserer großen Überraschung gab es einen Korb mit verschiedenen Obstsorten. Wir haben gleich zusammen eine kleine Stadtrundfahrt unternommen und später noch eine andere, um Polignano besser kennenzulernen - eine Stadt mit Charme und Leben. Das Apartment war sehr sauber und modern und entprach genau unseren Vorstellungen. Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne Woche und haben uns gut erholt. Gleich 2 Häuser weiter ist ein kleiner Obst- und Gemüseladen, bei dem sie billig Obst und Gemüse einkaufen können. Nicht weit entfernt ist auch eine Post und ein paar Kilometer weiter ist ein großer "Lidl." Polignano hat sehr schöne Restaurants direkt am Meer, die am Abend bei Beleuchtung einfach zauberhaft anzusehen sind. Leider war die Woche viel zu schnell vorbei und wir werden sicher wiederkommen. Vielen herzlichen Dank an Signora Gabriella, ihrer Großzügkeit und Freundlichkeit, die uns Freunde werden ließen. Wir können dieses Apartment nur empfehlen, es stimmt einfach alles! Uta und Helmut

Pobyt w Polignano byl najbardziej udanym urlopem w moim zyciu.Miejsce o niezwyklej urodzie,spokój,mili mieszkancy,tanie jedzenie.Duzo zwiedzania w okolicy.Gabrielle niezwykle goscinna i sympatyczna ,przyjechala po nas na stacje i poczestowala sniadaniem,potem obwiozla po mieście.Zachecam wszystkich Polaków do zrobienia wyprawy w to magiczne miejsce.Warto.Prawdziwy relax. ***Soggiorno a Polignano e stata la vacanza piu migliore nella mia vita.Un luogo di straordinaria belezza,calma,bella gente e cibo a buon mercato.Un sacco di escursioni nella zona.Gabrielle dell ospitale e cordiale.Ci aspettava alla stazione e poi ha offero la prima colazione e una piccola gita intorno alla citta.Incoraggio tutti i polacchi di fare viaggio in Italia e un luogo magico.Vale la pena.Un vero relax!

Casetta deliziosa in centro a Polignano

Con colpevole ritardo, ci tengo a lasciare una bella recensione a questa casetta meravigliosa e alla sua gentilissima proprietaria. Premessa necessaria: Polignano è fantastica e, sia che non ci siate mai stati, sia che siate già passati di qui come me, il tempo passato qui vi rimarrà nel cuore. La casa è graziosa, molto curata, molto pulita e ciò che troverete corrisponde esattamente alla sua descrizione. Si trova in centro a Polignano, vicinissima ai negozi e a pochi minuti a piedi da una gran quantità di locali giovani ed eleganti, che essendo appunto un po' distanti non turbano il sonno. Consigliatissima per coppie in cerca di serenità, bel mare e per tutti coloro che in vacanza hanno voglia di sentirsi a casa, visto che la proprietaria, Gabriella, accudisce i propri ospiti in maniera squisita. Colgo questa occasione per ringraziarla per averci fatto passare, per la seconda volta, una vacanza stupenda.

Nous avons séjourné 7 nuits dans l'appartement et cela a été pour nous un séjour délicieux. L'appartement est parfaitement situé, dans le quartier à proximité de toutes les commodités et sites touristiques, mais est très calme L'appartement est magnifique, très fonctionnel, et bien équipé. Enfin, son emplacement est idéal pas loin de la mer. La propriétaire est avenante, charmante et généreuse. Nous recommandons chaudement cette adresse !

Gentillesse, authenticité et générosité

Bel appartement, avec une décoration épurée, moderne. Il y a tout l'équipement dont on a besoin. Bien situe, pas loin des commerces et du centre. La mer Adriatique est au bout de la rue. La propriétaire, madame Gabriella est une femme très accueillante, patiente et généreuse . On a passé une semaine merveilleuse dans un cadre agréable et authentique.
