Salmon Rapids Lodge

8/10 Good

"We were traveling through Riggins and thought it would be good to stop half way on our trip. We have a small dog so we booked ahead of time for a dog friendly room which turned out to be more than okay. We were put on the ground floor near the outside entrance so we had close access to the grass for her to do her business. Also, the breakfast was pretty good. The outside back deck had a great view with a firepit and comfortable chairs looking down on the river. I would recommend it if you plan on staying in Riggins."

"Beautiful place to stay and escape the fireworks with our dogs for 4th of July! The rooms are beautiful and not your typical hotel rooms. They have local photography on the walls instead of stupid hotel art, the bed is comfy with nice bedding, and they even provided a sheet for our dogs in case they got on the bed. The little beach by the river is so peaceful, and being able to see the river from your window? 10/10. The kitchen is awesome, and the gazebo with a grill? Genius! We felt right at home!"

Top 1% Salmon River Cabin - Big Views, Quiet + 35-Ft Deck

"Sliding glass doors across the front of the cabin allowed for an awesome view no matter where you were in the cabin. Keeping one of the screened doors partly open also allowed the sound of the river to come in. Incredibly relaxing. Although there was a cabin on one side of us, things were angled so it felt private and all you could see from inside was the end of their deck which had some privacy fencing on it. Appliances were new and modern. Everything was extremely clean. Appreciated being able to bring my dog with me. It was also nice not to have 2 pages of rules to follow and not have to empty trash, start laundry…before I left. Wish I could have stayed longer"

"This place was awesome, just what we needed. I was in town to run a race and it was the perfect place to relax afterwards. Listening to the river was nice and it was very comfortable all around with everything we needed. Location was great as well."

Riverfront Cabin w/Loft in Riggins - Cozy Getaway!

"The only issue I had was. I had a confirmation email in my hand, but I didnt have a person I could speak to before leaving home to drive to Riggins. The owner did send me an email the day of check in, but i did not see that while I was traveling. So I got there a little nervous I might still need a room. The person cleaning the rooms gave me contact info to the owner. The cabins themselves were great, we loved them."
