"Cozy and beautiful cabin. You will really need to have a suv or any high clearance car to park in the driveway due to the steepiness of the driveway(included in the instructions.) "A nice and more affordable option for those visiting North Lake Tahoe. The Granlibakken has an old-school Tahoe vibe, which can be both charming and dated. This particular room, while checking all the boxes, definitely has a bit of "staying the night at Grandma's house) vibe. Furniture is fully functional, but could use an upgrade. Overall, would stay again for the price, but would enjoy it more with a little refresh."

"Very convenient location for skiing at Alpine or Palisades. Clean, quiet, and comfortable beds. We didn’t use the sauna or jacuzzi, but they looked nice! Host was very responsive. The unit could use some more modern outlets. My cell phone charger fell out of all of the outlets except for the bathroom. User tip: turn the shower knob towards the right for hot water. "
