Everything was superb, from the transfer via private boat to the warm welcome, from the wonderful rooms to the delicious food served at the Villa's restaurant. "Apartmenthotel. We visited the hotel at the end of the season. Most hotels were closed. Probably it will look different in springtime after a refresh. It was not dirty, only small imperfections. "Small family-owned inn located in center of Civitella in Val di Chiana. Room was comfortable and included all we needed. It was cold upon check-in which the co-owner tried to remedy with a space heater. It took a while. The room warmed up after the first night. "This is a wonderful property in a quiet area, but only a short walk to the piazza and restaurants. The only improvement I would recommend is the shower caddy; all of my travel sized items kept falling out of it."

"Property is stunning. Small medieval village with an awesome pool in the hills of Tuscany. As for the rooms, you are camping in a medieval village. Expedia claims A/C, but we did not have. the rooms that have A/C are only portable units. A little tough when it is a hot August in Tuscany. The beds are horrible. Again you are camping in a medieval village. Location is very remote from other Tuscany towns. That being said, it is a beautiful place to camp in a medieval village. "
