"Please ignore the reviews that this place is a little bit worn down. Yes it looks like something from Las Vegas in the 1980s. But, I'm still giving it five stars because the staff is absolutely amazing, I've traveled all over Greece the last two months and most hotels are terrible and hospitality is as well, but these guys are great, they also have the best gym I've seen in almost any hotel anywhere if you are a serious athlete, and their breakfast is phenomenal. Rooms are large as well. "

"The spliced in DIY electrical in the bathroom and above the entry door was plain dangerous.The pictures in the ad are no longer accurate as there has been additional "decorating" with creative paint techniques since those were taken. The bathroom door jamb was pulled apart and moldy and I was not comfortable taking a shower as it had mold in the caulking with peeling paint. The external high ratings that I had taken into consideration when selecting the property could not possibly have been from real clients. The staircase and halls were smelled of cigarettes and elevator was not operational when we were there. The property has a boarding house / office building feel.I was so disappointed I wanted to cry. I didn't complain the night of our stay because there was nothing that could have been immediately done."

"The area around this hotel felt a bit questionable. The property itself is definitely older. Parking was limited to the front desk and one visitor spot, and street parking isn’t an option without risking a fine. The room was fairly clean, though the rug was quite old and could use replacement. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful."

"Amazing!!! The hotel itself is gorgeous and very clean. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. We would open the window at night just to hear the water running in the nearby river. The small historical neighbourhood is majestic and so peaceful. The staff at Kokkino Spiti went above and beyond. Very friendly, welcoming and professional. They treated us so well, they made sure we were comfortable and treated my 90 year old father with such kindness. The breakfast was great, we were treated to the local olives, jams, fresh bread and local yogurt and honey. We are definitely coming back!!! "
