"We had a wonderful stay at this lovely boutique hotel. It's beautifully decorated with a unique updated traditional style. The staff went out of their way to answer questions and make sure our stay was comfortable. One point to be aware of is the parking they provide is at a sister property a ways away and can make luggage drop off and pick up a bit complicated. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here (and the amazing breakfast) and wished we could have stayed longer!"

"It was fine, nothing special or terrible. We never received the check-in email, but luckily someone was onsite to let us in. That was literally our only interaction with staff. Walk across the bridge to get into town, and if traveling with kids, there is a cute little park with exact (but scaled for kids) replicas of many of Portugal's (and it's current and former colonies) most famous sites, almost across the street. "The location of the hotel was ideal. However, the hotel is marked parking on site included. There is no onsite parking. There is free public parking across the river, but no way to stop and unload at the hotel. This was fine for us, but might negatively affect someone with mobility challenges. Also there is no elevator and narrow stairs to consider. The staff was lovely and the kitchenette was a pleasant surprise. "

"Beautiful old world apartment central to everything. Hotel was clean and modern and instructions were easy. Finding location at first was challenging as there is no car pull in or front desk. However once we arrived it was easy. The bed was a bit firm and walls very thin so heard the people above us. Gentleman who worked there was very friendly and helpful. Worth the money and very safe. "

"DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. From the listing, it looks like a proper place to stay, but in reality the door handle was completely broken when we reached. They messaged us to go to another room, and it was full of flies. The floor is uneven, there are no screens on the windows and no air conditioning, so you just have to have flies all over you. And that's if you don't mind the dogs barking and church bells from two different directions ringing every half hour in your window. It is completely false...
