Glacier Peaks Hotel

"Glacier Peaks Hotel and Casino is located in Browning, MT, the center of the Blackfeet Reservation, and is about 20 miles from Glacier Park. The hotel is in very good condition and well maintained and operated. The rooms are large and comfortable. We did have some difficulty with the controls for the AC, but it worked fine. Breakfast was included, and was standard fare for economy hotels. We had dinner in the adjacent on-site cafe - the food was good."

Big Sky Motel

"This is a very old motel, and the place pretty much looks the part. But don’t pass it by. The room was clean and everything worked. A very hot day and the air-conditioning worked well. For a shower, hot water was nearly immediate. A five star luxury resort this place is not but neither is the price and it will meet your needs. Would definitely stay again."

"Beautiful historic building and gardens. Our double room was rather basic with a portable fan instead of air con, and no coffee making facilities. We were disappointed that rooms appear to have been allocated on a first come, first served basis so when we arrived at 9 pm there were only 3 rooms to choose from. This is despite booking almost 9 months in advance. Breakfast buffet was good but not cheap at $26 a head; evening meal was good but some options were very pricey and there was a wait to get into both restaurants- we were given a buzzer to call us when a table was ready. There is a small shop for snacks and coffee and two gift shops."
