Marco provided a warm and friendly reception including tasty and delightful meals, promoting the excellent local produce. The location of the hotel was beautiful and a great base for the area. "The hotel staff were the best part of this old hotel. Rather old fashioned, other references talk about a pool? Despite the heat I saw nothing of this. Bathroom was clean but very very dated, everything worked although bathroom door did not shut properly. Breakfast was very basic but 24 hour help yourself affair, useful when coming in for a quick top up of coffee / water / juice. It was very noisy, mainly other guests, you could hear every little noise. I chose the hotel as it was roughly midway...
