The place is as close as you can get to Mont St Michel without paying to stay on Mont St Michel. Very convenient in that regard.
It was clean enough, comfortable enough and the staff were pleasant. We arrived on bicycles and they had excellent free bike storage as well as luggage storage which we greatly appreciated.
A big problem I have with this place (and a handful of others) is that check-in is at 5pm.
5 pm check in is quite frankly rude, inconvenient and is becoming more to common. Sad.

The receptionist attitude was bad! We have arrived at ~1:00 PM and try to check-in. The receptionist said, 'Your room is not ready, check-in at 5:00 pm." (Really?)
We asked if we could leave luggage at the lobby or somewhere. They said 'No'.
We asked that where I could put the luggage, 'in your car.', replied.
What? do you believe this?
The room had mosquitos! - Window has no screen. The room has no air conditioning.
Other than that, everything else seems fine.
I will not go to the same place if I come to Mont-Saint-Michel!
Staying just next to such a historic place was special in itself, for the location alone, it’s a 10/10 for me.
Of course, this is not a luxury hotel from a large international chain, but for one night it was absolutely fine, comfortable enough, and exactly what I needed.
The only real downside was finding something to eat late in the evening. Around 10:00 p.m., the kitchens in the area were already closed, and even with several hotels and bars nearby, there was nowhere to order food.
Overall, I was happy with my stay, especially because of the incredible location.
Adoramos a experiência. Recomendamos fortemente.
All really good !! Location is the best!!
I will the 5 star for the location !
Old hotel but exelent location👌
Keep it in mind! In summer
No AC. No fans😩😩😩

Das Zimmer erinnerte an eine Jugendherberge. Gratis Parkplatz.

Very helpful staff and a great location for Mont St Michel which was a lovely flat 30 minute walk away (free busses are available but packed at peak times). However the hotel is looking a little tired, carpets need replacing & rooms refurbishing also there’s no lift or air con - it was very hot when we stayed. Breakfast was ok for the price although the only black tea available was Earl Grey which doesn’t suit most people’s tastes.
Incidentally the restaurant next door “La Salicorne” is excellent, we ate there 2 nights.
