This beautiful country house is equipped for a large group of friends and families on a vacation. It is precisely suitable for families with children. The Landhouse Hommelhove is spacious and has large rooms but is still cosy, all thanks to the authentic elements that have been preserved. There is a large garden fully enclosed with plenty of garden furniture for you to relax and chill.

The house is within walking distance of the cosy town of Poperinge especially known as "Capital of Good Living", 7 km from the Belgian-French border. This quiet region in the Westhoek is a beautiful rural setting with plenty of sights and activities such as many cycling routes in the Poperinge area and mountain bike routes in the Heuvelland. For walkers, there are plenty of opportunities in the Galgebos (at walking distance from the holiday home), the Palingbeek, and the Helleketelbos. Trips to art cities such as Ypres, Bruges, Lille, and Saint-Omer in French Flanders are a welcome change. For children, there are trips to Bellewaerde in Ypres and Plopsaland in De Panne. The wide beaches of De Panne are just half an hour away by car. Poperinge has a great history, witnessed by its religious heritage. Greater Poperinge has 9 monumental churches that take us back to the 13th century.

Landhouse Hommelhove is ideally located as a base for the commemoration of WWI. Lyssenthoek Military Cemetery, an execution site, and death cells, Talbot House, Impressive witnesses to more than 4 years of war. In the kitchen, you can prepare delicious meals and enjoy them on the large dining table with 2-baby chairs. The kids can enjoy themselves in the playroom with toys and football while you indulge in a game of table tennis or simply relax in the living room by the fireplace watching movies on the DVD or listening to music from the stereo system. You can safely park bikes in the closed garage.
