"Perfect rental for me and my dog. Lots of windows and light, with gorgeous views right on the water. The deck is fantastic. Great location - very quiet (except the gulls and an occasional owl), but also convenient to restaurants and such. Kitchen had everything I needed and furniture was all lovely and comfy. "

"This house was amazing. It was way better than we expected after looking through the pictures online. The outdoor space and the house itself are beautiful and the pictures do it zero justice. We were worried at first about the lack of AC, but the house cooled right down once we opened the windows let the air in. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to visit Boothbay. It was so close to the main area, but you couldn’t even tell- it felt like you were immersed in nature."

"We enjoyed the house and love the .location.The biggest disapointment was that I could never go upstairs to sleep in the master bedroom and my husband had to crawl up and down the stairs! "Beautiful property. Saw seals from living room catching fish. Front door did not lock but it’s a safe neighborhood but a bit isolated. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Laundry facilities were a great help! Gorgeous views of the water and excellent service and communication."

"Overall the place was beautiful, clean and the view is amazing. We were near a lot of gorgeous beaches and downtown Bath which was nice as the beach by our dock was muddy and less appealing for swimming but great for shell hunting! There were little things like the fridge didn’t cool properly as it wouldn’t latch to stay closed the whole way and a couple screens that seemed to be in rough shape. But those things in no way interfered with our stay and just showed that it was used. Everything else...

"A nice small cottage, that's perfect for 1-2 people. It's a great location for exploring the Pemaquid peninsula. The cottage was clean and the description and picture showed exactly what you were getting. It is located on the main road down to the lighthouse and was busy on the weekend but only during daylight hours, but I was expecting that. I enjoyed my stay there and would take it again if I wanted to stay in Pemaquid. "

The only hiccups we had was that the check in code we were given was one digit off from what it actually was so we had a little trouble getting into the house. "Chuck & Lynn were wonderful hosts, with a perfect 2 bd cottage on a relaxing pond/bay in harpswell. They made sure stay was smooth and even greeted with banana bread. The town of their cottage is quaint and beautiful with hiking and lobster shack galore, however a 20-25 min drive from lots of stores / interstate. Would recommend this property to everyone!"
