Fabulous setting; charming, historic lodge. Lake Crescent and wooded surroundings are stunning. Restaurant was really special with lovely food and excellent service.
Cozy, rustic, good food, nice staff, tea was on house. Very nice view. Light and heat were on in the room and felt welcomed. Highly recommend this place.

The room was clean and very comfortable! We will be back.
This is the second time staying here, and I must say it was great second time around. The front desk clerk was so friendly. She was able to accommodate my request for the same room as my first stay. This is a great place to unwind and connect to nature.
Room was ok, I don't feel worth the price though. Said mountain view but it isn't. More like woods view. Lake is beautiful and so is the lodge. The bartender Aaron was fantastic.
Love the views and that it’s surrounded by spectacular nature.
Would appreciate better mattresses and a shower without red mold.

Beautiful scenery and easy access to nearby hiking trails. However, the rooms are poorly maintained, and the walls were so thin that I could hear every word spoken in the neighboring rooms.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The location itself and lodge are stunning and I don’t know what all the cottages or other room types are liked but my negative feedback is about the Storm King rooms. Ours was pretty dirty, the shower was bring, the bedding and towels had visible dirt on them and looked crumpled as if they hadn’t been cleaned or changed before we checked in, there was no WiFi or tv, the locks felt insecure and outdated. The toilet was very small and low to the ground while the peephole was way too high. Everything in the room creaked, the mattress, the log chairs, the toilet seat. Lastly, the toilet paper roll holder was hanging on by a thread so the roll kept falling off. Overall, the room and experience staying in it was very uncomfortable and unpleasant. However, I would consider staying here again depending on what the other room types or cottages are like because the scenery is incredible, the lake is crystal clear and the main lodge is charming and cozy with tons of character.

I stayed at Lake Crescent Lodge, Kalaloch Lodge, and Lake Quinault Lodge inside the Olympic National Park. Among these three, I personally think Lake Crescent Lodge has the best view and surroundings to explore, with the worst quality of room and amenities. So like many people have said, you are basically paying for the view, not the sleep.
The room we got is kind of small, the amenities are old, and the beddings are also not very clean. The front door lock had some issue that we had to try multiple times before we could lock it. The wall is paper thin and we could hear all the moves from upstair. Thankfully we visited during the thanksgiving break so not many people were in the building.
The main building in which the registration and dinning hall locates is well furnished and has a real fireplace. There is a bar in front of the dinning hall where you can get some drink (or just hot water for free like we did). The food is okayyyyyy but kind of expensive, which is understandable since you don't have much choice inside the park unless you want to drive back and forth from port angeles.
Usually I would not recommend such a place for stay, but the lake view, the lake shore trail and nearby rain forest are so nice. If you come in the summer you might also boat or swim inside the lake. So, if you want to spend more time inside the park and the lake, this is a good place. Otherwise, hotels at port angeles could be better choices.
