This is an old rooming house that has seen better days, say around 1910. Perhaps it is better in summer when one can have windows open, but the apartment stank of mildew. The electricity is on a meter and one must put coins in to keep it going. In winter they grant a base of a few pounds of electricity ...

I arrived early due to my phone not working and I needed WiFi to message my sister. The host was so kind to let me in and use the WiFi and drop off my bags eventhough the room wasn't redy yet. She was very friendly and they iffered free coffee and breakfast. I felt very welcomed.

Beautiful cottage! Clean, comfortable, quiet location steps from the beach with an incredible bay view. It's also just a few minutes walk to the train/bus station and store.

I have traveled the world and Port Erin is the only location I’ve returned to because I simply had to. It is incredibly beautiful, quiet, serene, no matter the weather. It has great access to other parts of the island, and I’d live there if I could.
