"If ther as a minus review, thats what i would give. Check in was a lot of hassle because hotel staff was not aware of my reservation. Hotel has lots of false advertising, no outdoor pool as advertised(absolutely nothing of this sort on the property, had to walk round the hotel to be sure), no free breakfast as advertised(when i asked for free breakfast as advertised, staff told me i had to pay). Wifi does not get to their basic rooms unless you're in the suite. I complained about the wifi to sevaral staffs, including the owner, everyone ignored me. Two days before my checkout day, one of the staff woke me up in the morning to ask for money. I was shocked. This made me so uncomfortable i checked out of the hotel 2 days earlier than i was supposed to stay. Housekeeping is advertised as daily but for my over 2 weeks stay, i had housekeeping maybe 5 times. The only positive thing i can say about the hotel is that the bedroom are quite big. I won't be returning here and won't recommend to anyone either."

"This is the most lifeless place I have ever lodged in my life and for that reason i had to fortfeit one day and left the place for another hotel. Stayed only one day instead of two days I paid for. No form of entertainment in that place."

"This place is a great, fun, hip place. Great location. Clean rooms , pool is lovely and lovely, friendly staff. Great view of the River near the pool at night. The reason I have 4 out of 5 is because the dining service needs to improve. There was not a proper menu to order dinner from the vip lounge upstairs at night. Waiter did not know enough about the cuisine to help tell us what the ingredients were in the dishes. My cousin order Egusi soup with protein just beef. Unfortunately, the chef put different types of meat inside the soup which my cousin did not like, and waiter was not willing to fix the order. However both cousins said the traditional Nigerian dishes taste good just the protein was incorrect. My dish was okay. Nothing special. Bar near pool was great. Except for one incident where the waiter tried to over charge me by 7,000 -10k Naira. Waiter could not produce itemized bill which was a red flag. Other than the dining/bar service everything was GREAT!! I will definitely stay here again when I visit PH."

"Staying at Limewood was good but things could be improved. Firstly, all those doing a booking should know that the complimentary breakfast is only for one if you are a couple and it cannot be served outside the restaurant for fear of fair usage of the limited items breakfast makeshift buffet style service. We were not informed of the terms and conditions of this breakfast service until a lot of errors were made and mood of staying another 8 nights turned sour. Secondly, the gym is in tatters as well as the swimming pool and the television station doesn’t even have YouTube. Lastly, the kitchen staffs can spoil your day, better to avoid them. The security is good and the hotel is well situated for easy access to the rest of the city depending on where you have your friends. The cleaning staffs and others are very friendly and helpful. We still did have a family like stay where many staffs were worm and welcoming. The price is good as well."
