My family gives 5 stars because it’s unbelievable how relaxing a getaway it is and the outdoor barn, kitchen and bathroom are dreamy - not to mention the incredible fishing pier that is well maintained "

"This home is a perfect get-a-way if you want to experience blissful Matagorda Bay. The amenities were all complete to provide a quiet and peaceful time at the bay waters edge and much more. The pier was perfect for fishing, even if you catch no fish! The sun rises and sun sets will amaze and touch your soul finding absolute inner peace. The description of the property was very accurate, with the screened-in porch a real bonus. "

"We only stayed one night. Amazing little place. We got a stunning lightning/ thunderstorm, however the power went out for a bit. Only rec would be flashlights! lol the home was clean and cozy. I Personally enjoy a lot of pillows on the bed, so that might be something to consider! Otherwise perfect little quiet escape. "
