"Very nice hotel, especially for the price. We have stayed at dozens of hotels this year, and Aquila D is one of the best. I can only think of one that was better, and that one was twice the money and breakfast wasn't included. The breakfast buffet here is very good, not quite a "full English breakfast" but much better than what you get in America. Hotels in Spain and France with breakfast buffets like this one charge an extra 15 Euros per person, on top of the room price. The rooms are modern, the hotel has a lift, there's a front desk with actual people there (unlike some other hotels I could mention) and they are nice and friendly. Our bed was very comfortable. Our room had air conditioning, a big TV, and a mini fridge. The location is very convenient, just a block from the bus terminal. The neighborhood is walkable, with lots of shops and restaurants and three grocery stores within 1 km. The beach is less than 2 km away, and there's a city bus stop right in front of the hotel which takes you to the beach for 40 Lekë. The street is sometimes busy and a bit noisy but I hardly noticed it from inside the hotel. Don't expect room service, or free champagne, or a swimming pool, or a massage. It's just a hotel, not a spa resort."

"What an amazing stay truly! From the staff (special shoutout to Orhan at reception) to amenities everything was unbelievably amazing. Would highly recommend to either go for dinner or get room service because the food was delicious. The spa was gorgeous and had everything you’d need - and it comes with a view! Would come back to Albania just to stay at this hotel"
