"There was one downside of this place - the creeping service fees which are not declared on the Vrbo profile. The website announces that bedding is provided, but then the owner writes to you to ask for €10 per person for sheets and towels. On arrival, you are told to use a screwdriver to clean the shower drains of hair before you leave. Then on departure, with minutes to spare, you are told to clean the whole place yourself or pay another €50. It’s not unusual to ask for a cleaning fee, but...

"We had two weeks at this wonderful Gite hosted by a wonderful couple - Brigitte and Thierry. They were very welcoming and their Gite was perfect for three of us, very tastefully decorated and set in an olive grove, lovely to sit and relax in. There was plenty see and do in the region too - a great location for a holiday."

"Christiane was a lovely landlady who was very helpful and friendly. The apartment was clean, well stocked and very stylish. We loved the garden and the parking was useful. "Chambre merveilleusement décorée au sein d'un domaine magnifique au climat provençale qui nous permet de sortir en T-shirt tout fin octobre. Bref j'ai adoré. Et tout cela sans compter l'accueil chaleureux et très sympathique des propriétaires. J'oubliais, il y a aussi un SPA dans un petit chalet tout en bois au milieu de la verdure, on se prendrait pour la princesse d'un conte de fée. A découvrir absolument. Je reviendrai."

"Where do I start after booking this supposed villa advertised as 6 bedroom we discovered it was in fact 4 bedroom with sofa beds in living area, adjacent to another house We sent sereval messages to owner responses took weeks and some questions remained unanswered. The owner was not at the villa on night of arrival to greet us, instead was at a party while we we're lost in a transfer in the woodlands, took multiple attempts to contact him, he wasnt very helpful.
