"We came in late night around midnight or 1am on both trips and each time there was a staff member waiting to check us in. Super appreciative of that level of service!! The Black Rooster is a collection of 3 separate buildings and we've stayed in 2 of them so far, each time the rooms have been clean and beds comfortable. Great facilities and easy parking around the buildings. They even offer pet friendly rooms. Highly recommend staying here when you visit or pass through Prince Rupert!!"

"The room was good. The amenities were good. The check in was awesome. The guy checking people in was amazingly efficient. We got off the ferry late and tired There were loads of people checking in and we expected a long wait, but the man at the counter was awesomely efficient so there was virtually no wait. I was not fond of the way they do breakfast. The food was good, but you have to ask for each item."
