As many wrote, the kitchen was well-stocked, including Reynolds Wrap and plenty of herbs. Along with the views, which really are beautiful, this home offers several cozy places to curl up by the gas fireplace and read. We spent lots of time in the great room. Gayle is an excellent communicator. We came during the 'off-season' and there was still plenty to enjoy — hiking, farm visits, and art venues. We plan to return to Lopez and this beautiful home. "

"My brother and I stayed here five nights in September 2025. This is a wonderful house on the water with beach access and island views looking north to Orcas Island. It’s a great point of origin for walks and bike rides, and you could kayak from the beach since it’s a low bank. This is a custom home with high quality furnishings. The kitchen has everything you need but be sure to bring salt/pepper and cooking oil. The pillows are good but the beds need upgrading. The guest room beds were so uncomfortable that my brother said they were the only deterrent to returning. Otherwise, the only other recommendation I would make is for the lower kitchen cabinets to get cleaned out. And the space under the kitchen sink needs a good cleaning. "
