Just three blocks from downtown, and two blocks from the historic uptown center with shops, restaurants, and a renowned farmers market. Charming three bedroom, two bath in an 1879 Victorian home that was converted into three apartments in 1949.

    Wander the wonderful neighborhood that is chalk-a-block with historic homes or take the kids to one of the two parks within walking distance.

    You'll have a fully furnished apartment with two queens bedrooms and a double single bedroom, a widescreen TV and cable and a full kitchen to cook local veggies and meats from Aldrich's Market, just up the street.

    High quality linens, bubble bath, & soap supplied.


    We have a crib/pack-n-play upon request and have no minimum age of guests, as we are family friendly.

    The apartment is on the first floor of the Victorian.
    There are three additional units on the property, one other vacation rental and two private residences.

Wonderful place for family.

Very clean, everything you need, tidy, two good sized bathrooms, rooms are great, decorations are delightful, near town, walk to restaurants and shopping and fun.

Easy stay

We had a lovely stay with our 3 kids (7,4,2). The place was close to everything. Our 7 yr old loved having her own tv . Other highlights: uno and an outdoor swing. It was quiet and there was plenty of space to spread out.

We loved the People’s House! The vibe is very welcoming and the layout is fantastic, plus the uptown location is so convenient. I hesitate saying too much because I don’t want it to be booked when I want to stay there 😃.

Family Holiday

Wonderful home for hosting annual family gathering. Lots of rooms, lots of bathrooms, everything you need in the kitchen, wonderful big table in the kitchen. Right next to town. Right next to the farmers market. Host is easy to communicate with and very responsive. I love this place.

Great location in Port Townsend

A very conveniently located house, with a nice master bedroom, and spacious shared space. This is an apartment within a house, and sound does travel in the space. Definitely a non-issue for us, but something to consider for your group.

Cozy, cute and convenient

This trip was on my bucket list because my daughter-in-law told us about this charming community and this lovely VRBO. They stayed here years ago and loved it and we were fortunate to stay here too. We stayed in the 3 bedroom unit which was very clean and comfortable. We absolutely loved the community. There was lots to do and the people are very welcoming. We will be back. Thank you Kelly.

Great spot

With bedrooms on each end of the house, and a door in the kitchen in the middle, you can have literally 3 closed doors between you and your kids when you sleep --amazing! The house itself is pretty typical of these older Port Townsend properties, in that it's quite old and that shows in the condition of the place. That said, it's nicely furnished and decorated, and overall perfectly fine if you know what you're getting into. The location is fantastic. No problems at all with communication from the host, everything went smoothly.

So much fun!

Convenient location. Walking distance to town. Huge house. Two full bathrooms. Three bedrooms one with twin beds. This is just the most wonderful place to come with friends and family. I enjoy it so much. Kelly, the manager is awesome. I’ve only had a minor issue once in all the years I’ve stayed here and Kelly hand immediately. She is always available. As always I will be back 3 times next year!

Charming

Charming VRBO. We have stayed in numerous VRBO's that have been "flipped" for that purpose and are well appointed with modern touches. This VRBO is not that. It is in a lovely neighborhood with deer visiting each morning. The space itself has character and charm. Large backyard, eat in kitchen and a split floorplan. If you like modern with all of the newest features, this is not for you. If you enjoy a place that is homey and comfortable, with character, you have found it!

Great for three long time friends

We really enjoyed having our own bedrooms. We gifted 4 drink glasses and two wine stems because we thought the glass wear was inadequate. The oven temperature knob had nothing on it but we figured out how to use the thermometer in the oven. It seemed like the refrigerator opened the opposite way but it is a Victorian so I’m sure that was the only way to fit it into a kitchen remodel. A nicer kitchen table would have been appreciated. Kelly was courteous, prompt and helpful with a circuit breaker problem in the back of the house affecting two bedrooms and one bathroom. We advised her by text of a broken handle on the bathtub they’ve tried to fix (but I figured out how to baby it) and a malfunctioning toilet in the master bedroom. I’m sure these are all being addressed. Overall we three had a wonderful time in the People’s House.

The house is just wonderful. The location is fabulous. Easy walking to restaurants stores in the waterfront. The house is Uber clean, very open, lots of room for all the stuff we brought with us, a big wonderful kitchen. I love this place. I’ve stayed here for years.
