"My friend and I were looking for small towns with specialty shops, great restaurants, and a beautiful area. And decided on staying in Port Washington at this rental, from online searches. The house is in a great location for walking downtown for restaurants or coffee or sightseeing at the harbor. The lake side fog that crept in was beautiful. This is simply a beautiful area of WI.This house was perfect for our time away. There were some extras in addition to the expected amenities. It was clean and inviting, with a cozy feel. It had character and charm, avoiding the trend some rentals that have succumbed to with the all-gray and white interiors and bare walls. I'd stay there again and recommend it to others.The only caution I would put out there would be for elderly or somewhat disabled persons. The stairs are just a little steep and a little shallow, with it being an older house. An elderly person may have trouble carrying any heavy luggage or items up the stairs. But also, if Dave was around, I am confident he would assist you."
