We arrived really late at night and she was kind enough to feed us as there didn’t seem to be a lot of late night food options in the area. Easy to find street parking. Bus stop into downtown Belfast is just across the street. About a 30min bus ride to center of city. (Tip: buy a day pass for the bus via the mLink app, £3.70). "

"The rooms and owners were great. Breakfast was wonderful. The views were incredible. Loved sitting out on the shore. Quiet and restful the only issue we had is that no restaurants were open after 7 pm. So we had to eat before heading back to Portaferry. Would highly recommend."

The breakfast was more than what we can eat. A for the quality of the breakfast and attentiveness of the host. We very much appreciated the restaurant and Beachwalk recommendations. "The accommodation was basic and clean. The breakfast was amazing. The disappointing thing was the picture on the website has been taken many years ago and the shower wouldn't work in our room, there was loose skirting board and when we flushed the toilet it put water up the shower outlet."

"Botanic Rest B&B was clean and basic. It lost points for noise and safety. When we checked in we took our suitcases up the stairs. About halfway to our room in the hallway on a few stairs up, a man was doing some repairs in the doorway to a room. His tools (including an electric screwdriver) were in the middle of the stars and hallway. We had to move them, so we could get past. Pretty unsafe. The breakfast was nice. They had the usual continental breakfast and you could order hot items off...

"What a find! This stunning house on the sea front surpassed our expectations. Spacious, spotless and scenic. Michael’s communication with us was spot on and we even had option of early check in and late check out. I would not hesitate to return as the location was also fabulous! Lots of lovely places to eat around and we were very fortunate with the weather for January so could enjoy the beautiful views and the hot tub! Perfect weekend!"
